Each year, the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) brings together a vast array of knowledge, innovation, and new products at the SAE World Congress in Detroit, Michigan.  This year, Thermetrics President Rick Burke attended the congress to meet with existing customers and discuss applications of Thermetrics products for the transportation industry.  The event included strategic and technical sessions, exhibit spaces, and even a Ride and Drive section to try out new vehicles firsthand. Once again the Techtextil show in Frankfurt, Germany lived up to its reputation as a major textile industry event.  Expanded to four days for 2015, the additional day turned out to be an excellent time to revisit parties who had been too busy to talk or who had asked for more information when contacted earlier.  Thermetrics again shared space in the Mesdan S.p.A. stand, and our contribution to the Mesdan Lab display was a SGHP-8.2 sweating hotplate and an advanced 26-zone sweating “Newton” thermal manikin system.   Read More

Newton and team are showing Seahawks spirit before Sunday's Superbowl game against the New England Patriots.  Newton is wearing Seahawks jersey #31 belonging to Kam Chancellor, a founding father of the "Legion of Boom." Newton is surrounded by team members from MTNW's Thermal group, Line Control group, and Engineered Compost Systems. It is the second straight year the Seahawks have earned their way to the Superbowl.  In the run up to the big game, it seems half the city of Seattle is wearing blue and green.   Our team says about Sunday's Superbowl game, "bring it on!"
